FALL HARVEST

For the month of November our theme will be fall harvest. We will learn about animals, food, and talk a little bit about the changing weather.

Our sensory bin will be filled with hard and soft animals, leaves, brown and red yarn, and utensils to practice the fine motor skills of grasping. Of course, each child will have their own sensory materials- either in a zip lock bag for younger infants or in their own small bin for older infants! We will have animals set out as a work for the infants to become familiar with and eventually practice naming. We will also have a food puzzle with pegs available for infants to practice their pincer grasp.

We will continue reading fall themed books and will add a song about apples and bananas to our song repertoire. We are so excited for this month!
