Hello September~

Welcome back, infant families! A warm welcome to our new students, Jack and Rose. Lyla will soon transition to the toddler classroom—we will miss her but know she will thrive in her new environment.

This month, our theme is fruit. Fruit will be incorporated into weekly lessons that promote language development, fine motor skills, sensory development, and self-expression.

Weekly focus—

  • Week one: Language (fruit flashcards)

  • Week two: Fine motor (fruit-cutting puzzle)

  • Week three: Sensory (fruit-biting work)

  • Week four: Self-expression (stamp art project)

Focus on quality and ease of movement, not on the age a milestone is accomplished.
— RIE Principal
